Position Overview

Role Summary:

E-Frontiers is seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Technical Supervisor to become a vital member of our innovative UK HOP Team. In this capacity, you will serve as the primary resource for technical inquiries related to IT security from both clients and team members, with a focus on security systems, networking, surveillance technology, and software solutions. Your expertise will be essential in reducing security vulnerabilities, ensuring adherence to security protocols, and maintaining the highest standards of installation practices. The Cybersecurity Technical Supervisor will offer specialized advice on security frameworks, technologies, and industry best practices to safeguard the confidentiality and integrity of our systems and data. Additionally, you will be responsible for training team members on surveillance networking, system functionality, and troubleshooting methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

In addition to the aforementioned duties, your focus will include:

  • Providing technical insights regarding software systems and surveillance configurations.
  • Interpreting security specifications from clients and delivering feedback to facilitate the design and quotation for new installations.
  • Advising management and clients on emerging technologies and identifying upgrade opportunities.
  • Documenting current processes and procedures for the proper installation of equipment.
  • Overseeing the on-site activities of project engineers and assisting with the commissioning of installations while providing constructive feedback.
  • Participating in meetings with senior management as the department's technical authority, offering knowledge and guidance to our clients.
  • Collaborating closely with the Operations Director and Project Managers to ensure projects are managed effectively and completed on time, meeting client expectations. Working in tandem with the Maintenance Manager to address technical challenges and inquiries.
  • Conducting quality assessments of engineers' installation work and approving completed tasks as necessary.
  • Assuming additional reasonable responsibilities and performing other duties as assigned by the Operations Director to meet the operational needs of the business and maintain agreed service levels.

Qualifications for Success:

  • A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in the Security/IT sector.
  • Essential experience and qualifications in IT and IP Networking.
  • CCNA Certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Experience in software configuration and surveillance technology.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role, providing guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with colleagues and clients at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Adept problem solver, capable of troubleshooting and providing feedback to clients.
