About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Architect to join our team at FactSet Research Systems. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing comprehensive cybersecurity strategies within the Identity & Access Management domain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stay Ahead of Emerging Threats: Stay updated on new security threats and assess system defenses to ensure the security and integrity of our systems.
  • Research and Advise: Research disruptive solutions and advise security leadership on the latest cybersecurity trends and best practices.
  • Enhance Identity and Access Management: Enhance Identity and Access Management to secure products and services, ensuring seamless access for authorized users.
  • Coordinate Central Cybersecurity Services: Coordinate central cybersecurity services for business partners, ensuring a unified and secure approach to cybersecurity.
  • Provide Metrics-Driven Insights: Provide metrics-driven scorecards for executive leadership on cybersecurity health, enabling data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with IT: Collaborate with IT to enhance security strategy and posture, ensuring a robust and secure technology infrastructure.
  • Research, Validate, and Deploy Security Solutions: Research, validate, and deploy security solutions that meet business needs, ensuring the highest level of security and compliance.
  • Develop and Formalize Security Team Standards: Develop and formalize security team standards, policies, and procedures, ensuring a consistent and secure approach to cybersecurity.
  • Influence Incident Response Planning: Influence incident response planning and postmortem exercises with measurable benchmarks, ensuring a proactive and responsive approach to cybersecurity.
  • Lead, Mentor, and Coach: Lead, mentor, and coach cybersecurity engineering, development, and business teams, ensuring a culture of security and compliance.
  • Conduct Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing on security solutions without hindering business operations, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption.
Requirements
  • 7+ Years' Experience: 7+ years' experience in cybersecurity, compliance, and risk management, and/or systems engineering.
  • 5+ Years of Proven Background: 5+ years of a proven deep background in Identity and Access Management.
Critical Skills
  • Deep Experience in Cloud Computing: Deep experience in cloud computing (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS) across public, private, and hybrid environments.
  • Extensive Knowledge of Security Controls: Extensive knowledge of security controls: PKI, IAM/IGA, PAM, security automation, deception technologies, and application controls.
  • Proficient in Articulating Business Risks: Proficient in articulating business risks from cybersecurity issues to non-security stakeholders.
  • Proven Deep Background in Technology Design: A proven deep background in technology design, implementation, and delivery.
Preferred Experience and Skills
  • Experience with AWS and Azure: Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with Compliance Frameworks: Experience with one or more of the following: ISO 27001, NIST, Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Center for Internet Security (CIS) standards or Service Organization Controls (SOC) 2.
  • Broad and Diverse Experience: Broad and diverse experience across cybersecurity strategy, operations, security architecture, cloud security, and identity and access management.
  • Demonstrated Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated technical proficiency in applying cybersecurity controls.
  • Ability to Oversee Complex Initiatives: Ability to oversee and execute highly complex, cross-organizational initiatives.
  • Ability to Engage Executive Stakeholders: Ability to engage executive level stakeholders on complex matters with limited oversight and guidance.
  • Ability to Think Strategically and Tactically: Ability to think strategically and tactically, with effective decision-making skills.
  • Relevant Cybersecurity Certification: Relevant Cybersecurity Certification(s) (CISSP, CISA, CIAM, etc.).
  • Highly Trustworthy: Highly trustworthy; leads by example.
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
