Job Summary

Lidl in Deutschland is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Warehouse Shift Leader to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of warehouse staff, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
  • Take responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with other shift leaders and department managers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration across the warehouse.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity, reducing costs and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of warehouse strategies, aligning with company goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics management role, with a strong track record of leadership and team management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and quality control.
