Assistant General Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at JD Gyms. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in driving the commercial performance and operational excellence of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the gym, ensuring exceptional customer service and a positive member experience.
  • Assume the responsibilities of the General Manager in their absence, providing seamless leadership and direction.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of business strategies, focusing on commercial growth and operational efficiency.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Deliver set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), driving business results and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a management position within the leisure industry, ideally with a focus on commercial performance and operational excellence.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Qualification to at least Level 2 Gym Instructor, with a passion for customer service and a commitment to delivering exceptional member experiences.
  • Experience in driving sales and coordinating local marketing activity, with a track record of success in a similar role.
