About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for applicants with previous NHS experience working within cancer services or with experience working with patients within a front-facing setting. The successful applicants will join the Skin Cancer Nursing Team.

The Dermatology Patient Navigator will be part of the Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS) team and will work closely with the nurses. The role will link closely with MDT Facilitators and Diagnostic Services to promote seamless coordination and timely management of patients at all points of the cancer pathway.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient contact and support throughout the whole cancer pathway.
  • Assist in the delivery of the National Living with Beyond Cancer agenda (LWBC).
  • Work closely with the Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS) team and nurses to provide seamless coordination and timely management of patients.
  • Link with MDT Facilitators and Diagnostic Services to promote timely management of patients.
