The Seamoor Unit is a busy combined chemotherapy and medical day treatment unit with outpatient and clinic facilities. As a key member of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, you will be joining an exceptional team working together to help our patients stay healthy when they need it most.

Main duties of the job

This post provides an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic person to work within the multi-disciplinary team to provide treatment for patients with a cancer or haematology diagnosis. Previous experience in the administration of chemotherapy is not essential as training will be given. However, experience in the administration of IV therapies, cannulation, and venepuncture is essential.

Job responsibilities

As a cancer care specialist, you will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients receiving chemotherapy and other treatments. You will be responsible for administering treatments, monitoring patient progress, and providing emotional support to patients and their families.

Working Pattern

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 18:00, with 4 shifts per week. You will be part of a dynamic team that is committed to providing excellent patient care.
