About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a highly regarded Financial Planning practice in the UK who are looking to recruit a Financial Planning Support Administrator to join their team at Blakemore Recruitment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support
    • Provide administrative support to Financial Planners and Directors, ensuring they have timely and accurate information in readiness for client meetings.
    • Ensure client records are up to date and that internal systems and processes are followed.
  • Document Management
    • Generate and compile documents to create accurate client review packs and check packs where appropriate.
    • Ensure a clear audit trail is maintained for all client records and that documents are saved and named correctly.
  • Client Support
    • Provide accurate and timely information liaising with providers and third parties as necessary.
    • Keep Financial Planners and team members up to date with progress and escalate any concerns or complaints that may arise.
  • Team Support
    • Support and develop junior team members to enable them to be as efficient and effective as possible.
    • Conduct pre and post reviews, delegating to team support, as appropriate, for certain tasks.
  • Due Diligence
    • Complete due diligence for all new business, following the new business checklist.
    • Generate platform calculators to outline the costs.
  • Communication
    • Generate template suitability letters from IO, completing the factual client and plan elements and complete the free type sections where possible.
    • Liaise with the Lead Support or Senior Financial Planner Support if you require assistance.
  • Cash Management
    • In conjunction with the Financial Planner, ensure the cash weightings are checked each week and actioned.
  • IO Management
    • Ensure IO is up to date and opportunities are added and maintained regularly and correctly, in consultation with the Financial Planner.
  • Client Instructions
    • Process all client instructions using the respective advice flow, checklists and IO event lists and tasks.
  • Professional Development
    • Maintain and update my talent development record, via the Beckett Academy App, ensuring my involvement in projects and specific tasks to support my development.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have excellent administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. They will also have strong communication skills and be able to build relationships with clients and colleagues.

We are looking for a motivated and organized individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic and be committed to delivering high-quality results.
