About the Role:

Aether Financial is seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate regularly with clients to request their financial records
  • General bookkeeping, including bank reconciliations, processing expenses
  • Maintain Sales and Purchase Ledgers
  • Prepare VAT returns
  • Invoice clients on their behalf
  • Manage client bank accounts and process payments on their behalf
  • Prepare management accounts

Requirements:

  • Experience of working on various software packages (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
  • A good academic record, with good attention to detail
  • Started or willing to start an accounting qualification (AAT or ACCA)
  • A minimum of 12 months bookkeeping experience at a UK accountancy firm
