Role Overview:
Join our dedicated team as a Specialist Support Assistant focusing on students with challenging behaviours. This role involves working with Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 pupils who exhibit such behaviours.
The successful candidate will provide customised support to address the individual needs of these students, assisting them in overcoming learning barriers and achieving their educational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support classroom educators in managing challenging behaviours.
- Establish strong, positive relationships with students to create a nurturing learning environment.
- Monitor and document student progress, providing constructive feedback to educators and parents.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly those exhibiting challenging behaviours.
- A relevant qualification in education or child development is preferred.
- Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special needs.
