SEN Teaching Assistant

About the Role:
Teach Now is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to work in primary schools based in Islington. As a daily supply SEN Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with SEN in primary school settings
- Assist teachers in creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide emotional support and guidance to students with anxiety and other emotional struggles
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, teachers, and school staff
- Contribute to a stimulating and creative learning environment
Requirements:
- Experience working with IEPs and supporting students with SEN
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain a calm and patient demeanor in challenging situations
- Completed DBS check or willingness to complete one
