Job Title: Senior Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care to individuals with Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD) and other complex mental health conditions.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and forward-thinking team, providing evidence-based psychological therapy and support to individuals in need. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, formulating, and delivering therapeutic interventions to clients, as well as working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and formulate treatment plans for clients with EUPD and other complex mental health conditions
  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychological therapy and support to clients
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new treatment programs and services
  • Provide supervision and guidance to junior staff members
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology or post-graduate qualification in adult psychotherapy
  • Registered and accredited with the Health Care Professional Council (HCPC) for psychologists or UKCP for psychotherapists
  • Demonstrable experience of working in mental health services and experience of working with clients with EUPD and other complex mental health conditions
