We are seeking an Educational Support Assistant to assist a child with Early Years Transition Funding.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Ability to cultivate positive relationships with children
  • Experience in supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
  • Background in aiding children with speech and language challenges, including the use of alternative communication methods such as Makaton or PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System)
  • Flexibility and responsiveness to the needs of children
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Strong communication skills
  • A commitment to the success of every child
  • Resilience and enthusiasm
  • Excellent teamwork abilities

This is a temporary position that will conclude when the funding ceases or when the child exits the school.

The role requires 15 hours of work per week, with the following schedule:

  • Monday: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Thursday: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Friday: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
