Job Summary:
Orka Financial is seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing timely, accurate, and insightful financial reports to support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and lead the month-end process for the preparation of financial reports
- Complete all balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy
- Produce and process period-end journals and ensure compliance
- Review sales and costs with management to ensure correct coding and accruals, and provide variance explanations
- Coordinate variance analysis and commentary for monthly financial reports
- Participate in regular forecasting and annual budget processes
- Support Finance Business Partners to produce variance analysis of forecast and budget variances for management reporting packs
Requirements:
- Solid management accounting experience and a strong understanding of financial reporting
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work well in a small finance team
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide insightful financial analysis
