We are currently in search of a skilled Culinary Supervisor to become a vital part of our award-winning team at Oakdene Care Home. Our facility provides outstanding care to up to 71 residents, specializing in Residential, Dementia, and Respite care.

As a Culinary Supervisor, you will work closely with the Head Chef to create exceptional meals for our residents while ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently.

Essential Qualifications:

• City & Guilds or equivalent culinary credentials
• Strong teamwork abilities
• Basic Food Hygiene Certification
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-driven and proactive attitude

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience catering to specific resident needs
• Familiarity with working in a care setting (not essential)

Main Duties:

• Prepare and serve meals as required
• Mentor junior kitchen staff
• Conduct Food Hygiene training sessions
• Maintain accurate records and manage supplies
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations
• Assist with inventory management
• Uphold cleanliness and organization within the kitchen
