We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Specialty Doctor to join our inpatient ward at Beechlydene, Fountain Way Hospital, Salisbury.
Key Responsibilities- Under Consultant supervision, you will be responsible for the day-to-day continuing assessment, management, and treatment of patients.
- You will liaise with GPs regarding a service user's medical monitoring results.
- The post holder is expected to seek Section 12 approval as soon as possible.

Person SpecificationQualifications
- Basic Medical Qualification (MBBS or equivalent)
Desirable
- Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
- Completed at least four years' full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a part-time or flexible basis) at least two of which will be in a specialty training programme in Psychiatry or as a fixed term specialty trainee in Psychiatry or shall have equivalent experience and competencies.
- Ability to appraise own performance.
- Experience of carrying out an audit project.
Knowledge
- Up to date knowledge of issues in Mental Health Service for this specialty.
