About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Advisor to join our team at Jarvis Johnson. As an HSE Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, customers, and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Ensure that all aspects of our operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Training and Development: Deliver training programs to promote safe behaviors and working practices, and communicate areas of concern to management.
  • SHE Management System: Develop and maintain our SHE management system, ensuring it is effective and up-to-date.
  • Day-to-Day Operations: Oversee and monitor day-to-day practices and conformance to SHE policies and procedures.
  • Compliance Checks: Conduct regular compliance checks to identify areas for improvement.
  • Health Surveillance Plan: Own and manage our health surveillance plan, ensuring it is comprehensive and effective.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Qualifications: NEBOSH Certificate (NVQ Level 3 equivalent) or equivalent.
  • Professional Memberships: Member of ISOH, IEMA, and/or IES.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
