The role is based in a hybrid working environment, with 3 days spent in the office and 2 days working from home.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of financial tasks, including:

  • Posting bank payments and intercompany transfers
  • Managing the accounts inbox and ticketing system, processing incoming requests and invoices
  • Uploading and posting of purchase invoices
  • Chasing PO approvals
  • Payment of parking fines
  • Payment run reports
  • CIS monthly returns
  • CIS statements to be sent monthly
  • Verifying subcontractors through the HMRC portal
  • Setting up vendors on the accounts system
  • Dealing with incoming calls for the accounts team
  • Reconciling supplier accounts

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar finance role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Experience of accounting systems, processing transactions, and dealing with queries
  • A resilient and confident self-starter
  • A methodical and organized approach to work
  • Good Excel skills
