Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join our client's finance team in Liverpool. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting and a passion for delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and journals.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets, and provide analysis and recommendations to management.
  • Perform financial analysis and reporting, including variance analysis and trend analysis.
  • Collaborate with the Management Accountant/Financial Controller to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Requirements
  • Part-qualified or QBE in accounting, with a strong background in financial accounting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proficient in Excel and other financial software applications.
