We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to join our team at Evolve Personnel. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of IT systems within our manufacturing business.
The IT Project Manager will work on a variety of projects from concept through to completion and maintenance, managing the design, development, and support of systems. This will include managing the internal development team, liaising with and managing external partners and suppliers, and producing documentation to required standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in identifying risk, issues, and dependencies. They will also have a good understanding of emerging technologies, AI, and Cloud Services, as well as experience with ERP systems, preferably Exel and SAP.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing projects and supporting IT systems implementations
- Implementing processes to minimize disruptions to projects
- Project Management of systems and change management successes
- Liaising with and influencing users and Software/technical engineers at all levels
- Supporting the use of ISO27002 in system development/installation
- Producing documentation to required standards
The successful candidate will be a motivated and able individual, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to work under pressure and have a strong understanding of the manufacturing industry.
Requirements:
- 3 to 4 years' experience within the manufacturing industry
- Project Management qualification (Agile, PMP or Prince 2)
- Knowledge of emerging technologies, AI, and Cloud Services
- Experience and a good knowledge of ERP systems (preferably Exel and SAP)
- SQL Database knowledge would be an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Motivated and able to work under pressure
