Financial Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team in Burton Upon Trent. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for producing timely and accurate financial data, ensuring timely reviews and submissions.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide management accounts and technical accounting for the technology segment.
- Collaborate with the business to ensure performance drivers are understood and support decision-making.
- Build relationships with internal software development teams, offering analysis and insights to support business decisions.
- Deliver monthly reporting and commentary for the technology segment, including contributions to Management packs.
- Line manage and develop the Fixed Asset and Service Financial Analysts.
- Oversee project setup and lifecycle management to ensure correct accounting under US GAAP and local statutory reporting.
- Ensure the integrity of financial figures, completing balance sheet reconciliations and providing audit and SOX compliance information.
- Qualified Accountant with 3-10 years of post-qualification experience in management accounting.
- Good understanding of fixed assets, and software capitalisation.
- Strong communication skills to tackle technical accounting queries and delegate effectively.
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (Dynamics 365 is a plus).
