About the Role
The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective management of medications for our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients' medication needs and develop personalized medication plans
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely medication dispensing
- Provide patient education and counseling on medication use and management
- Contribute to the development and implementation of medication management policies and procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services with appropriate underpinning knowledge
- Registered with the GPhC
- CPD portfolio in line with GPhC requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
