Are you a passionate educator looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of learners? Do you have a strong background in business and education? We are seeking a dedicated Business Tutor to join our team at HMP Rye Hill, a category 'B' training prison in Warwickshire.

About the Role

As a Business Tutor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality business lessons to groups of up to 16 learners. You will work closely with the education team to create engaging and interactive learning experiences that equip learners with essential business skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver business lessons to groups of up to 16 learners
  • Work closely with the education team to create engaging learning experiences
  • Assess and provide feedback to learners on their progress
  • Contribute to the development of the education team's curriculum and resources
Requirements
  • Teaching qualification or subject specialist qualification at Level 4
  • Hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
  • Gain/hold and maintain a clean, enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
  • Have a history of working effectively with people presenting challenging behaviour
