We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Business Teacher to join our education team at HMP Rye Hill. As a Business Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality Business lessons to groups of up to 16 learners, equipping them with essential business skills to secure future employment opportunities post-release.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality Business lessons to groups of up to 16 learners
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of diverse learners
- Assess and provide feedback to learners on their progress and understanding
- Collaborate with the education team to ensure a cohesive and effective education program
- A teaching qualification or subject specialist qualification at Level 4 (Level 5 - new standards) with a commitment to obtain the relevant outstanding Level 4 (Level 5 - new standards) qualification within a specified time scale
- Hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
- Gain/hold and maintain a clean, enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
- Have a history of working effectively with people presenting challenging behavior
