Nursery Chef

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nursery Chef/Cook to join our team at Ickle Pickles Nursery School. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious and delicious meals for our children, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook meals for children with specific dietary needs
- Implement Storal's values of responsibility, openness, and teamwork in the kitchen
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, including COSHH and Ofsted guidelines
- Manage stock levels and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Deputise for the Cook in their absence, with the expectation of taking on full-time responsibilities when required
We are looking for an individual with a Level 2 Food and Hygiene qualification, a minimum of 6 months' experience in a similar role, and a strong understanding of health and safety regulations and COSHH. You should be able to reflect Storal's values and demonstrate a passion for providing high-quality food and care for our children.
What We Offer- Competitive hourly rate from £10.47 to £14.13 based on experience and qualifications
