We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Nursery Chef to join our team at Ickle Pickles Nursery School. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious and delicious meals for our children.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook meals for children with specific dietary needs
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Manage kitchen inventory and maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Collaborate with the nursery team to provide a safe and stimulating environment for children
- Deputise for the Cook in their absence
We are looking for someone with a Level 2 Food and Hygiene qualification and a minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role. You should have a strong understanding of health and safety regulations and COSHH.
