About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Nutrition Specialist to join our team at Storal. As a key member of our nursery kitchen, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious and delicious meals for our children, while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement nutritionally balanced meal plans for our children, taking into account any dietary requirements or restrictions.
- Manage the nursery kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared and stored safely, and that the kitchen is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Work closely with our nursery team to ensure that all children have access to healthy and nutritious food, and that our kitchen is a safe and welcoming environment for all.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels, ensuring that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet the needs of our children.
- Collaborate with our health and safety team to ensure that our kitchen meets all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Deputise for the Cook in all absences, and take on additional responsibilities as required.
About You:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Nutrition Specialist who is passionate about providing healthy and nutritious food for our children. You will have:
A Level 2 Food and Hygiene qualification, or equivalent.A minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role, preferably in a nursery or childcare setting.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with our nursery team and children.A strong understanding of health and safety regulations, including COSHH.A commitment to our values of responsibility, openness, and working together.What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary, ranging from £10.47 to £14.13 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer:
