Aerospace Safety Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our client's team on a permanent basis. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the continued accreditation of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System and advising Senior Management on changes in applicable Health and Safety legislations.
Key Responsibilities:- Health and Safety Advice: Provide expert advice and information to the Senior Management Team on changes in applicable Health & Safety legislation.
- Regulatory Compliance: Represent the company in interactions with regulatory and authoritative bodies, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Culture and Behaviour: Promote a safe working culture by engendering expected behavioural standards throughout the business.
- Technical Expertise: Provide Health and Safety technical expertise and support across fabrication/office and construction site operations.
- Audit and Certification: Prepare for and facilitate external Health and Safety audits, ensuring the HSMS system meets the requirements of BS EN ISO 45001:2018.
- Training and Development: Advise on training requirements to ensure regulatory and legislative compliance.
- Supply Chain Collaboration: Engage with construction site operations subcontractors to share knowledge, lessons learned, and promote continual improvement in the supply chain.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Liaise with the Quality and Environmental Manager on aspects affecting Quality (BS EN ISO 9001:2015) and/or Environmental Management Systems (BS EN ISO 14001:2015).
