Roadspace Scheduling Specialist

Job Overview:
As a key member of our team at Egis Road Operation M40, you will play a vital role in managing roadspace and scheduling operations effectively. Your responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with the planning department to develop daily and monthly work schedules while ensuring the necessary roadspace is secured.
- Maintaining the accuracy of the planning documentation for both daytime and nighttime operations.
- Preparing detailed night work documentation well in advance to facilitate smooth operations.
- Inputting cone timings into the planning documentation based on traffic flow analysis.
- Reviewing and confirming the accuracy of briefings prior to distribution to subcontractors.
- Monitoring the real-time scheduling sheet daily and addressing any discrepancies with the Network Control Centre and Lead Scheduler.
- Coordinating with third-party contractors utilizing network data for optimal scheduling.
- Ensuring adherence to work notifications and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Securing necessary permissions from local authorities and law enforcement for scheduled works.
- Engaging effectively with stakeholders to align work activities with the National Highways network.
- Encouraging teamwork and innovative approaches while prioritizing safety in all operations.
- Performing additional related duties as required.
- Building strong relationships with clients and partners to foster collaboration.
- Complying with health, safety, and environmental regulations as per company standards.
Candidate Profile:
The successful candidate will possess a keen attention to detail and a solid understanding of the National Highways Network Event Management system. Familiarity with traffic management layouts is essential for accurate scheduling.
Required Skills:
- Expertise in the roadspace booking process and Network Event Management system.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and MS Project.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A strong educational background.
- Experience in high-speed network operations is a plus.
- Prior experience in resource coordination is beneficial.
