About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Magdalene Utilities Delivery Team in the UK. As a key member of our Contract Delivery team, you will play a crucial role in providing end-to-end commercial management and control of all projects within your area of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supplier management within the contract
  • Contract administration, including issuing of appropriate contractual notices
  • Maximising margin through effective commercial controls
  • Minimising inefficiency through effective risk management and cost control
  • Providing critical commercial support to the operational project teams and PMO
  • Management accounts and reporting
  • Any other commercial management activity required
Requirements
  • Degree-qualified Quantity Surveyor or relevant experience
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet key deadlines in a pressurised, target-driven environment, whilst maintaining a customer-focused ethos
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to work independently and in a team-based environment to achieve programme targets
  • Demonstrable willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Telecoms experience is desirable but not essential, subject to the candidate demonstrating experience in the responsibilities outlined above
