Band 5 General Nurse

Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled and dedicated Band 5 General Nurse to join our Outpatients Department.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for delivering safe and effective patient-centred care to our service users, their families, and carers. This will involve ensuring the clinical care requirements of patients are communicated effectively, supervising and developing newly qualified staff, and participating in clinics as a chaperone when required.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and carers to ensure their needs are met.
- Supervise and develop newly qualified staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they reach their full potential.
- Participate in clinics, acting as a chaperone when required, and ensuring patient records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Undertake clinical audits to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient care.
- Conduct patient satisfaction surveys and respond to feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A strong understanding of patient safety and quality improvement principles is essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
