Scantec Recruitment is partnering with a leading Food Manufacturer to fill a critical role at their manufacturing facility. As the Technical Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the highest quality and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement technical strategies to improve quality and reduce risk.
  • Manage customer relationships during audits and support the leadership team in embedding a quality-first culture.
  • Lead by example in promoting behavioral standards that align with the company's values and culture.
  • Coach employees in implementing and training technical standards, systems, and procedures.
  • Utilize best practices from within the company and external sources to drive continuous improvement.

We are seeking an experienced manager with a background in technical leadership and customer-facing experience in the food manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of credibility with multiple retail customers and excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree or HND in Food Science or a related discipline.
  • Technical Management experience in the food industry with customer contact and team management/supervision.
  • Level 3 Food Safety and Level 3 HACCP certifications.
