We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our team at Equans. As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical aspects of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement electrical project plans and timelines, including conducting site surveys and evaluating electrical programme activities.
  • Supervise and monitor the progress of M&E subcontractors, ensuring that quality, health and safety, and programme requirements are met.
  • Assist in the design and layout of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and communication systems, using computer-aided design (CAD) software to create electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Collaborate with project managers and team members to develop detailed electrical project plans and timelines.
  • Ensure that the client receives the most appropriate engineering solutions.

Requirements:

  • Experience in consulting engineering and/or contracting.
  • Understanding of the importance of coordination and quality assurance throughout each phase of installation and taking ownership of these key factors.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Safety consciousness, with a comprehensive understanding of electrical safety protocols and regulations.
  • Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
