Position Overview:

As CORE POWER continues to grow, the demand for comprehensive IT support is increasing. We are also acutely aware of the rising threat of cyber incidents and are committed to enhancing our capabilities to safeguard our data and digital infrastructure.

Role Summary:

We are in search of a proactive and experienced IT Manager to become a vital part of our innovative team. This role involves overseeing our IT framework across multiple locations.

The IT Manager will support various CORE POWER functions in utilizing and advancing our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a continuous improvement mindset and a desire to take ownership of processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Cybersecurity Management

  • Establish and uphold comprehensive cybersecurity protocols to safeguard company data and systems.
  • Continuously monitor for potential security threats and respond swiftly to incidents.
  • Conduct thorough security assessments and propose enhancements.

Technical Assistance

  • Address IT support inquiries from staff promptly.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and networks.
  • Provide clear guidance and support to end-users.

Procurement of IT Resources

  • Collaborate with relevant parties to identify and acquire necessary IT hardware and software solutions.
  • Assess and recommend technology options that align with organizational requirements and budget constraints.

Employee Training

  • Deliver training sessions to staff on effective use of IT systems and tools.
  • Encourage a culture of IT best practices throughout the organization.

Documentation Management

  • Develop and maintain detailed and current documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
  • Create user manuals and documentation for common IT tasks.

System Maintenance

Perform regular maintenance to ensure the stability and performance of IT systems.

Update and patch operating systems, software applications, and security measures.

  • Network Management

Oversee and enhance network infrastructure to guarantee reliable and secure connectivity.

Diagnose network issues and implement necessary improvements.

  • Compliance Assurance

Ensure IT systems and practices adhere to relevant regulations and standards.

Stay updated on industry-specific compliance requirements and implement necessary adjustments.

  • Collaborative Efforts

Work in partnership with external vendors for project execution and problem resolution.

Assist in planning and executing IT initiatives that support company goals.

IT System Enhancement

  • Proactively identify opportunities to better integrate our existing IT infrastructure.
  • Work on improving CORE POWER's instances of various software tools to better serve our needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Required Skills:

  • Expertise in IT troubleshooting and problem resolution, with the capability to manage technical challenges effectively.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity best practices, including the implementation and maintenance of security measures.
  • Familiarity with network administration and the ability to manage and optimize network systems.
  • Experience with data backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and minimize downtime.
  • Ability to create and maintain thorough documentation of IT systems and processes.

Operational Skills:

  • Strong project management capabilities, including collaboration with external vendors and support in planning and executing IT projects.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific compliance requirements and standards.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate with colleagues and vendors to achieve IT objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to stay informed about emerging IT trends and technologies.

Leadership Attributes:

  • While formal leadership may not be a component of this role, a readiness to take initiative and assume additional responsibilities as CORE POWER expands is essential.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with team members, employees, and external vendors.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload efficiently.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet evolving IT demands and challenges.
  • Experience with software tools is advantageous but not mandatory.
