Key Responsibilities- Accounts Payable Services: Work closely with Finance Officers to provide efficient and accurate Accounts Payable services, ensuring compliance with authorization levels and financial processes.
- Financial Transaction Management: Assist in day-to-day accounting, accurate recording of financial transactions, and maintain documentation as per audit requirements.
- Invoice Processing: Process invoices, assign correct expenditure codes, and handle payment queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Creditor Management: Prepare payment listings, assist with GPC queries, and resolve unpaid invoice queries to ensure smooth creditor relationships.
- Financial Reporting: Produce creditor reports and maintain administration systems in line with financial processes.
- Administrative Support: Act as the first point of contact for suppliers and stakeholders, provide administrative support, and train non-financial users on finance systems.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to financial processes, policies, and procedures, including GDPR compliance and audit requirements.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Financial Knowledge: Understanding of accounting systems, reconciliation processes, and reporting requirements.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team, with a commitment to Equality and Diversity and safeguarding.
