Special Education Needs Teacher

About the Role:
GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join our team in a vibrant client school located in Westminster. As an SEN Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with Special Educational Needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lesson Planning and Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with SEN.
- Progress Monitoring and Feedback: Assess and monitor progress, providing feedback and adapting teaching methods as required.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support student development and well-being.
- Safeguarding and Inclusion: Uphold high standards of safeguarding, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Record Keeping and Review: Maintain accurate records and contribute to SEN reviews and meetings.
Requirements:
- Qualifications and Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential, with proven experience working with students with SEN, ideally within a school setting.
- SEN Strategies and Differentiation: Strong understanding of SEN strategies and differentiation techniques.
- Communication and Relationship Building: Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Adaptability and Commitment: Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students, commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Right to Work and DBS: The Right to Work in the UK, Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to process a new application through GSL Education.
