We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Sales Executive to join our team at De Vere, a prestigious venue in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. As a Sales Executive, you will play a key role in driving our sales initiatives forward and promoting our Meeting and Corporate Event facilities to exceed targets and ensure maximum commercial success.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct appointments with new corporate and agency clients to showcase our hotel facilities and generate enquiries for future business.
- Research and proactively convert new corporate opportunities, with a focus on generating new conferences, day meetings, and transient corporate accounts.
- Assist in the creation and implementation of a cohesive sales plan for the conference, events, corporate, and local & UK markets.
- Manage the social media plan for the hotel across all market segments.
- Assist the Director of Sales with key projects and campaigns.
- Proactive sales experience, ideally from within the hospitality sector.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to positively represent De Vere.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, as this role will involve travel within the UK.
- Great planning and organisation skills, with the ability to set demanding but realistic targets and methods of achieving them.
- An understanding of the technical and professional aspects of your work and the drive to continually maintain technical knowledge.
- A thorough understanding of the channels to market to create revenue opportunities.
- A competitive salary of £28,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
- An uncapped sales bonus incentive scheme with an OTE at 15% of salary based on business performance.
