Forensic Intellectual and Neurodevelopmental Disorders Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Forensic Intellectual and Neurodevelopmental Disorders (FIND) Service. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients with intellectual disabilities, autism, and acquired brain injury.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement care pathways for patients with complex needs
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
- Contribute to the growth and development of the FIND service
- Participate in clinical governance and audit activities
The FIND service is a regional service serving Devon, Cornwall, and the Isles of Scilly. We deliver care pathways for both men and women with intellectual disabilities, autism, and/or acquired brain injury. Our team works to optimize length of stay and the forensic care pathway, reducing the use of out-of-area or specialist placements.
