Account Director - Retail POS

Are you a seasoned Client-facing Account Director with a strong understanding of retail/instore POS? Based onsite with the Client five days a week, you will be responsible for the management and strategic development of this sole customer. You will lead and support a skilled account management team to maximize revenue and profitability for the Client.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintain a close overview of all activities being managed by the account team, focusing on the quality of internal briefing and the successful delivery of key campaigns.
  2. Ensure your team operates within the commercial framework of the client.
  3. Reporting on the delivery of services using KPIs and SLAs.
  4. Delivering monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews, including agreed Continuous Improvement Initiatives.
  5. Ensure that key client information is kept up to date and accurate at all times on our CRM system (ACT).
  6. Management of the personal development of all team members through appraisals, one-to-one meetings, mentoring, succession planning, and coaching.
  7. Building effective business relationships with clients, third-party agencies, and the company.
  8. Maintain a relationship with your Account Managers and Production Controllers to ensure invoices are processed in a timely manner.
  9. Actively driving the growth of your accounts, having visibility of their budgets and performance.
  10. Provide accurate rolling account forecasts.
  11. Excellent understanding of the activity within their respective accounts.
Requirements
  1. 10 years+ account management experience.
  2. Solid technical understanding of all core services and team structure.
  3. Good IT literacy, including knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  4. Understand the balance between delivering services operationally and commercially while driving good PR in the process.
