Responsibilities of the Hospitality Service Associate:

As a vital member of the Food & Beverage department, you will report directly to the Food & Beverage Manager. Your role is to embody the hotel's welcoming spirit and ensure a memorable dining experience for our guests. The personal interactions you foster will be the highlight of their stay, making your contribution essential.

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Crafting beverage orders for guests following precise recipes and measurement standards.
- Opening and serving wine and champagne selections.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar, tables, and service areas.
- Preparing fresh garnishes for beverages.
- Ensuring adequate supplies of ice, glassware, and other essentials.
- Transporting supplies to the service area as needed.
- Washing and sanitizing glassware.
- Clearing used items from tables and bar tops and placing them in designated areas.
- Anticipating and communicating supply needs.
- Processing various payment methods accurately.
- Balancing cash at the end of shifts and completing necessary reports.
- Securing all alcoholic beverages and maintaining storage areas.
- Completing end-of-shift duties, including cleaning and restocking.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that guests have access to a well-stocked and maintained mini-bar throughout their stay.

Additional Duties Include:

- Conducting thorough closing procedures, including the proper storage of reusable items and cleaning of all equipment.
- Inspecting the cleanliness and presentation of all dining ware before use.
- Upholding cleanliness in work areas throughout the day, adhering to a clean-as-you-go policy.
- Reporting any accidents or unsafe conditions to management and completing safety training as required.
- Following all company policies and maintaining a professional appearance.
- Engaging with guests warmly and addressing their service needs proactively.
- Communicating effectively with colleagues and maintaining positive working relationships.
- Complying with quality assurance standards and expectations.
- Performing physical tasks such as lifting and moving items weighing up to 10 pounds.
- Executing other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

The successful candidate will have prior experience in a Food & Beverage role within a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment.

A welcoming demeanor and a genuine passion for service are essential. You should possess excellent communication and presentation skills, be a collaborative team player, and take pride in delivering exceptional service with authenticity. Proficiency in the English language is required.
