About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our team at a prestigious fine dining restaurant in North Yorkshire. As a key member of our kitchen brigade, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
  • Oversee the kitchen team, ensuring efficient service and high standards of food quality
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and stock control
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to achieve kitchen targets and objectives

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Sous Chef in a fine dining restaurant
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality food and excellent customer service
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
