Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Air Import Specialist to join our team at Maersk. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of air freight shipments from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their business needs and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Own the customer experience, striving to achieve best-in-class service and ensuring that customer needs are met.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of air freight shipments.
  • Adhere to process standards and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Identify and execute upselling opportunities to drive value through the network.

Requirements

  • Airfreight experience in export operations, with knowledge of air import operations being beneficial.
  • Perseverant and action-oriented individual with strong collaboration and influencing skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Operations system knowledge and customer-centric approach.
  • End-to-end process knowledge, with a focus on air freight operations.
  • Interpersonal savvy and English language proficiency.
