We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at the NHS. As a key member of our Community Nurse Specialist team, you will play a vital role in providing specialist palliative and supportive care to patients with advanced, progressive life-limiting disease.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct holistic assessments, develop and implement care plans, and provide specialist palliative and supportive care to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with a wide range of community-based services, including the multi-disciplinary team, to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and carers, using sensitive and empathetic language to address their needs and concerns.
About the Role:

This is a full-time, permanent position, offering a competitive salary of £38,304 to £43,609 per annum, plus 30% Unsocial Hours Enhancement on Saturday and 60% on Sunday & bank holidays.

Requirements:
  • Post-registration qualification or experience in palliative care/oncology or related subject.
  • Commitment to continuing education and professional development at an advanced level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
