Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome clients warmly to our service area
- Engage with customer inquiries and meticulously record their vehicle concerns
- Apply your technical knowledge to evaluate vehicle issues and suggest necessary repairs or maintenance
- Provide precise estimates regarding repair costs and timelines
- Promote additional services or products that could enhance the customer's vehicle
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure prompt repair completion
- Keep clients updated on their vehicle's repair status
- Process transactions and maintain accurate financial records
Work Schedule & Compensation:
Standard working hours are Monday to Friday:
- Week 1: 7.00am - 4.00pm
- Week 2: 8:30am - 5:30pm
- Week 3: 10.00am - 7.00pm
- 1 in 4 Saturdays: 7am - 1pm
Salary ranges from £27,500 - £30,000 annually, plus a company performance bonus.
Candidate Profile:
The successful applicant will possess:
- A proactive and positive attitude
- The ability to deliver high-quality work
- A team-oriented mindset
- An understanding of Health and Safety regulations
- Prior experience in a customer service role, ideally within the automotive industry
- Strong skills in upselling and effectively communicating the benefits of additional services
- Solid mechanical knowledge to accurately diagnose vehicle problems and recommend suitable solutions
- Experience in handling financial transactions and maintaining accurate records
- Outstanding customer service abilities with a knack for building rapport
