Thames Hospice is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Retail Assistant Manager to join our team at our Binfield shop. As a Retail Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales growth, improving customer experience, and contributing to the overall success of our retail operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the management of the shop floor, including visual merchandising, stock management, and customer service.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Work closely with the Retail Manager to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with the recruitment, training, and development of retail staff.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and secure working environment, adhering to health and safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of sales growth and customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and take calculated risks.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the business.
- Knowledge of retail operations, including stock management, visual merchandising, and customer service.
