We are pleased to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Logistics Operations Supervisor at our affiliated organization, Ewals Cargo Care. This role is essential for overseeing the operational aspects of our logistics services.

The successful candidate will possess the capability to develop and sustain an effective operational framework that meets the demands of our business. You should be adept at managing multiple tasks and collaborating across various departments. Previous experience in similar roles is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Establishing and upholding operational standards for precision, efficiency, and dependability
  • Overseeing daily operational activities
  • Managing budgets to align with business objectives
  • Ensuring daily operations meet the high expectations of our clients
  • Collaborating with counterparts at Ewals Cargo Care to enhance organizational efficiency and quality
  • Working closely with the Transport Manager to optimize fleet performance and service quality
  • Managing driver leave requests to maximize fleet availability
  • Recruiting office personnel as necessary
  • Assisting with disciplinary actions when required
  • Overseeing office staffing, including holidays and shift patterns, to fulfill business needs
  • Conducting annual performance evaluations and process assessments
  • Ensuring adherence to regulatory, compliance, and legal standards
  • Inspiring, mentoring, and managing team members to foster professionalism and quality
  • Advocating for our group’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion policy, promoting a collaborative and supportive workplace

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a comparable position
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities
  • Strong multitasking skills
  • Comfortable working with diverse teams
  • CPC qualified and listed on our Operating Licenses

Work Schedule: 45 hours per week
