About the Role

As a Sustainability Consultant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth of our UK Healthcare Team. You will work on projects in London and South East England, with opportunities to support healthcare projects throughout the UK and globally. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the sustainability and NZC aspects of healthcare projects
  • Raising the profile and reputation of the UK Healthcare Team
  • Undertaking and overseeing sustainability concepts and design philosophies
  • Inspiring and enthusing engineers and technicians on your projects
  • Liaising with clients and collaborators, representing Ramboll at project meetings
  • Supporting key accounts and developing new clients
  • Supporting UK Healthcare team sector business development strategies
  • Producing high-quality fee proposals
  • Implementing best practice procedures to enhance and maintain delivery of sustainable, zero-carbon, innovative, and quality advisory and design services
  • Managing your own projects and acting as sustainability project manager to allocate resources and coordinate tasks

Your Background

We're looking for a candidate with demonstrable experience in the UK Healthcare sector, including experience with building hospitals in the UK. You should have a degree in a relevant discipline and membership or qualifications leading to membership of a relevant professional institution. A background in sustainable design, including building physics and environmental assessment, is essential. You should also have proven experience as a sustainability consultant and a thorough understanding and use of digital design tools, including Revit/BIM 360.
