About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Flood Risk Engineer to join our team at Aldwych Consulting Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on flood risk assessment and management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct flood risk assessments for strategic development schemes in Flood Zones 1, 2 & 3.
  • Develop surface water drainage strategies for proposed development sites, incorporating SuDS.
  • Perform river/flood modeling to determine mitigation and suggest improvement schemes.
Requirements
  • Minimum degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of current legislation, drainage design standards, and good practice.
  • Proficient in MicroDrainage and flood modeling software packages.
