Job Overview:
As a Senior Design Engineer at Nano-Purification Solutions, you will be an integral part of the Engineering team, contributing to both new and existing product development and engineering activities. You will be pivotal in guiding new products through the entire design process—from initial concept to development and into full-scale production. Additionally, you will lead and implement product and process improvement initiatives across the existing product range.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement product design strategies to drive business growth and innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new products, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage product development projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for product improvement and implement changes to enhance product performance and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain production-ready data, including engineering drawings, bills of materials, and 3D CAD models.
- Liaise with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure seamless product development and delivery.
- Ensure compliance with relevant product approvals and standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders as needed.
- Maintain adherence to internal quality management systems and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Product/Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a design or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding and application of design strategy and product development principles.
- Proactive approach to managing and driving product development projects.
- Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a dynamic development environment.
- Solid understanding of material selection, production, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficient in 3D CAD, preferably SolidWorks, with strong knowledge of engineering best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
