Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine testing to guarantee timely bulk chemical analysis, ensuring efficiency for downstream operations.
- Investigate and document any deviations or defects, minimizing delays and losses while implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain and organize laboratory documentation to support seamless quality control functions, including specifications and production records.
- Utilize SAP for the release of incoming raw materials following Certificate of Analysis (COA) checks.
- Ensure the laboratory is tidy and compliant with 5S standards.
- Oversee the maintenance of laboratory equipment, glassware, and chemical stocks to prevent testing delays.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a laboratory setting; experience in the chemical sector is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- A practical understanding of chemistry is beneficial.
- Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations within a laboratory environment.
