The Role

The main responsibility of the research associate is to assist in various business functions related to the execution of retained search assignments. Collaborating closely with a partner or director, you will ensure that search assignments are completed to the highest standards through:

  • Delivering research services to support the execution of searches and business development initiatives.
  • Coordinating internally and externally to meet agreed timelines on searches, with a strong emphasis on client satisfaction.
  • Monitoring market trends concerning individuals and organizations, and identifying potential business development opportunities.
  • Engaging in telephone conversations with executives and market sources to gather and verify pertinent information.
  • Creating well-crafted search reports and other materials, primarily for client use.
  • Contributing to the exploration, recommendation, introduction, and enhancement of new research services and methodologies.
  • Offering general support to Directors and Partners across all business activities as needed.

The Research Associate position is an entry-level role, making it suitable for candidates with limited professional experience as well as those transitioning from other industries into executive search. To excel in this role, you should possess:
